PURPOSE:

To provide students an opportunity to work cooperatively and express their creative powers

 

DIRECTIONS:

1.  You will need to chose a partner with whom you will be able to work.  Remember that you will have only one period in which to complete your work of art, so chose wisely.  You may select anyone from our team, not just your Homeroom.

2.  When you have secured your partner, tear off the bottom portion of this paper and turn it into your Homeroom teacher by Friday, October 19th.  Each person MUST turn in a slip to verify partners.

3.  In order to participate in this activity, you will need to pay $1.00 to your Homeroom teacher by  Friday Oct.19th.

If you have any concerns about the money, have a parent contact  Mrs. Barr or Mrs. Cressman..

4.  Plan your creation in the days preceding the event.  Also, check out the pictures of previous year’s creations in our showcase.

5.  On the day of the activity you will need to bring your materials from home.  The team teachers will supply only the pumpkins.  You might want to consider the following:

  *  Fabric scraps

  *  Yarn

  *  Old clothes for your creation

  *  Paints/paint brushes

  *  Pieces of straw

  *  Hot glue gun (only with parent permission via note)

  *  Use your imagination!
